Our Walks:

Discover the relatively unspoiled Coppet Hill, a truly breathtaking walk that starts off from the rural village of Goodrich with its splendid 11th century castle. First we have a sharp climb up some steps but are rewarded with fine views over Herefordshire and Monmouthshire. As we continue our journey the Skirrid and black mountains feature in the distance combined with the river Wye weaving through the patchwork picturesque farmland, truly inspiring. It’s then off along the ridge of the hill through the national trusts nature reserve, where we follow a path down through woodland which brings us out into a keenly grazed field. We then meander downstream along the river path in the shadow of the steep cliffs that tower over the Wye, home to the very rare Peregrine Falcons. Our return home takes us under the famous attraction of Yat Rock and back up through the nature reserve.
