Starting at the picturesque village of Snowshill, this walk passes through more typically
inspiring Cotswold scenery making for a moderate walk to task. We then amble up to
the escarpment and along the Cotswold way taking in the views either side, Bredon
hill to the left, and to our right the escarpment with Broadway tower in the distance.
We then descend to the charming town of Broadway, famous for its exquisite shops
and Cotswold stone buildings with their thatched roofs. After absorbing this town’s
unique historical architecture it’s on to the bottom of the escarpment again, where
we tackle a very sharp incline to the famous Broadway tower providing us with its
expansive views of the vale and the counties beyond. We return on narrow country
roads past a delightfully sweet smelling Cotswold lavender farm, then down to the
attractive Snowshill again.
